Helderberg Hospice Squares of Care for World Cancer Day

Join us as we launch our Squares of Care crochet campaign on World Cancer Day.
What to expect:
- A relaxed, welcoming crochet space inside the shop
- Friendly volunteers teaching basic crochet stitches
- A drop off point for crochet squares and supplies
- Conversation, and community connection
You are welcome to:
- Learn how to crochet
- Crochet squares with us (please bring your own crochet needles and dk wool)
- Donate dk wool, needles, or completed squares
- Simply stop by and support the initiative

Helderberg Hospice Squares of Care Project
From 04 February 2026 through to 17 July 2026, we will be collecting crochet squares and supplies at our Main Road, Somerset West, Charity Shop.
What we are collecting:
- Crochet squares (standard size: 15x15cm)
- Dk wool
- Crochet hooks and knitting needles
Each square contributes to larger blankets that will be gifted to a hospice patient, or used to aid patient care.
