In a heartwarming display of community and compassion, the Vintage High Tea, hosted by Helderberg Hospice, took place at Zandvliet High School in Macassar on Sunday 5 May 2024. The event was a resounding success, uniting individuals from all walks of life in support of a noble cause – funding essential palliative care services.
Guests were greeted with open arms as they entered Zandvliet High School, where the foyer had been transformed into three distinct rooms. Laughter and joy reverberated through the halls, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. The Vintage High Tea didn’t just tantalize taste buds; it also touched hearts, with every sip and bite translating into tangible support for those in need. The generosity of our community was on full display, as all proceeds from the event were dedicated to advancing our mission of providing dignified and compassionate care to individuals and families during their most vulnerable moments.
This event stood as a testament to the unwavering dedication of our team, volunteers, and attendees. Together, we wove a tapestry of care and kindness, ensuring that those confronting the challenges of life-limiting illnesses find solace and dignity precisely when it matters most.
