In a heartwarming display of community and compassion, the Winter Wonderland High Tea, hosted by Helderberg Hospice, took place at Firgrove Primary School on 31 July 2023. The event was a resounding success, uniting individuals from all walks of life in support of a noble cause – funding essential palliative care services.
Guests were welcomed into a transformed Firgrove Primary School, where laughter and joy echoed through the hall. The Winter Wonderland High Tea not only tantalized taste buds but also touched hearts, as each sip and every bite translated into tangible support for those in need. The generosity of our community shone brightly, as all proceeds from the event went towards furthering our mission of providing dignified and compassionate care to individuals and families during their most vulnerable moments.
The event was a testament to the unwavering dedication of our team, volunteers and attendees. Together, we created a tapestry of care and kindness, ensuring that those facing the challenges of a life-limiting illness, find comfort and dignity when it matters most.
