About Your Will

Although we are not comfortable considering our own mortality, having a valid, legal will is vital in ensuring that your wishes are carried out, and that your family’s interests are protected. Without a will, finalising your affairs is undertaken by the Courts, who have a limited ability to assist, and the process may be considerably delayed and could cost more.

Your will is not a static document and can be changed to reflect your current circumstances.Getting professional advice from attorneys is important because they can ensure that your will is valid, that it complies with your wishes, and that the requirements of the law are met.

A bequest is a gift in your will which offers you a significant way of keeping your charitable ideals alive.  Your compassion and vision will help to ensure that your charity has an impact on future generations.

When you leave a legacy to Helderberg Hospice, you help to ensure the sustainability of serving the Helderberg Community with professional palliative care. Your gift will provide practical help, relief from pain, emotional support and spiritual comfort at a time when it is needed most.
