If the 1980’s was your favourite decade – with big hair, tight pants, shoulder pads and the best memory – making music – then step back in time at the Helderberg Hospice 1980’s Party, at Star Bar, Somerset West on Saturday March 1 from 8pm till late.

The party, organised by the Somerset 1 Facebook group, aims to raise enough money to buy a much-needed new fridge and stove for the kitchen at Hospice House. This will be of direct benefit to the patients in the 10-bed ward, which forms a vital part of the special care Helderberg Hospice provides to the local community.

Tickets at R50, and R150 for VIP status, are available from Star Bar, Victoria Street, and the Hospice shops in Drama Street, Somerset West and the Panorama Building, Strand. There are great prizes for the best dressed, so search your cupboards or vist the Hospice shops to get your 1980’s look together to be a winner.

Call Patricia on 082 731 5736 or visit the Somerset 1 Facebook page for more information.
