A PLACE FOR MEMORIES TO GROW
Helderberg Hospice celebrates being of service to the Helderberg community since 1986. One of anniversary projects recently launched is the establishment of a Garden of Remembrance, which provides a peaceful space for those who wish to remember their loved ones. This special garden is open to all in the Helderberg who wish to honour the memories of those no longer with them; it is not only for those who have received the specialist care of Helderberg Hospice. As this is a garden to benefit the whole community, Helderberg Hospice invites all in the Helderberg to get involved with this project and consider donating the following in remembrance of loved ones:
- Benches with armrests. Memorial plaques provided by the family can be placed on the bench.
- Trees, plants and shrubs from our recommended list (click here) can be planted.
- A granite plaque can be purchased and will be engraved with wording of the donor’s choice.
- The plaque can be placed on an iron spike near the plant.
Please contact Cheryl on 021-852 4608 or firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
The Garden of Remembrance is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 8h00 to 16h30.
